Global Financial Analyst

For our HQ in the Netherlands we are looking for committed finance professional who will be the financial business partner to senior management and take care of the Planning & Control Cycle. Your core activities include to support the business with strategic business plans, budget and forecast, financial analysis etc. As part of your day-to-day activities you will be working with your counterparties in Europe, MEA, Asia, RoA, North & South America Regions. Our new Global Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely Group financial information and analyzing financial data considering company's goals and financial standing.
In this role you will be providing management with creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance and assembles and summarizes data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.
Your key responsibilities would be to
- Act as a Business Partner to (senior) management
- Establish and maintain accounting policies and provide guidance to the Finance community in Hyva (in accordance with IFRS);
- Drive people, processes and systems opportunities and policy development initiatives that impact the Finance function in Hyva (both Group and Local)
- Maintain and improve the Internal Control Framework in relation to financial reporting and compliance;
- Consolidate and analyze financial data (actuals, budgets, forecasts, etc.) considering company’s goals and financial standing;
- Prepare and review consolidation journals for group reporting, including Purchase Price Allocation, Tax unity adjustment, reversal of unrealized profit of stocks, etc.;
- Maintain the group consolidation system;
- Ensure global compliance with accounting standards and financial reporting policies and procedures;
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for the Hyva Group;
- Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts;
- Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis;
- Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks;
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance;
- Provide support for the Internal Audit process;
- Support Group Treasury & Tax.
Professional qualification and experience
- Master in Accounting or related field;
- 5 – 7 years of international F&A experience;
- Knowledge of OneStream (EPM) is a plus;
- Strong analytical and recording skills, detail oriented;
- Business Acumen;
- Team player and good communicator who is able to work with colleagues from different locations/backgrounds and coulure's;
- Influential skills;
- Proactive and change oriented, willing to contribute to improve already existing processes
- Strong work ethic with a positive can-do attitude;
- Languages: fluent in English (mandatory);
