POSITION OVERVIEW
The Digital Services & Customer Experience team is one of newest areas within the Digital department at Hyva and is a strategic growth pillar of the company. You will play a key role in the internal digital transformation of Hyva and the way how we will interact with our customers from a digital perspective and continuously enhance our digital portfolio to ease their life.
This role is a real ‘spider in the web’ as you will be the center point of identifying new digital opportunities for Hyva by partnering with our internal stakeholders (and/or customers). So being a team player with the sensitivity of working in an international environment is instrumental here. At the same time, you will also ensure that the internal community is further building up digital knowledge which is a key element in ‘becoming digital’ as a company. And finally, the most important part of your role is to analyze, conceptualize and finally take care of the development of the digital products. Depending on the type of product the development can be in-house or with a 3rd party.
It’s the responsibility of the Project Manager Digital Services to drive each project from start to finish (including the Go-To market strategy) and ensure its seamlessly embedded in the overall customer experience. The type of products which will be developed will be very much different. This will vary from internal efficiency tools & services, configurators, automation, knowledge management, portals to artificial intelligence. All with the primary focus to connect with our customers in a very efficient way, generate leads and interact with them in the way they prefer.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analysis and concept creation of new (engineering) tools & services for internal or Hyva customers
- Development of new tools & services with low-code or CPQ software in collaboration with internal development resources and with further technical suppliers
- Overall project management in the development of web based and mobile (engineering) tools & services
- Information transfer and project coordination between (engineering) specialists within Hyva and internal / external IT resources (software / web developers, IT business analysts)
- Evaluation of new digital business models (in conjunction with the Digital Business Development team)
- Support design and implementation of core business processes with an online interface for customers
- Close cooperation with the Digital Ambassadors in the local Hyva Companies with evaluating, testing and developing new tools and services
- Support on the Digital Culture program (workshops, creation of frameworks, inspiration materials)
- Scope of work includes:
- (Engineering) calculators and other design tools
- Configuration tools
- Product and material selection tools
- Mobile tools and apps
- Support on Internet of Things applications from a business point of view
- Ensure continuous alignment between systems like Product information Management (PIM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and related applications and services
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Educational Level: Degree in Information Technology or Mechanical Engineering or similar education
- Professional Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Experience in conceptualization and development (low-code and/or CPQ software) of digital products is mandatory (ideally in an engineering environment)
- Direct and proven experiences in any of the following is preferred: (digital) business development, functional analysis, specifications improvements, customer experience, digital marketing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills—especially in international teams.
- A proactive, hands-on mindset with a passion for innovation and customer experience.
- Fluent in English and open to occasional travel (up to 15%).
