Hyva hydraulics in Carpi

Our new Warehouse in Carpi, between Modena and Reggio Emilia is dedicated to support our hydraulics business in the Italian market. We are building over there a great and ambitious team to make our Italian business a success and ensure happy Italian customers. One of the key roles will be our new sales back office colleague.

 

Sales Back Office Vacancy (Back Office Commerciale)

In this very nice role you will be the one that provide support for a smooth running Sales back office and Logistics operations. You will be the first point of contact for our customers and taking care of front office activities such as receiving customers and suppliers.

Besides this, you will execute various administrative and supporting duties, for example like providing the sales team with market data from the inhouse system and external sources.

You will be reporting to the back office manager in the Netherlands and operationally assisting the Hyva Italy’s Managing Director and his team.

 

About you

You are a customer focused person, action-driven, that enjoys doing what needs to be done to support the day-to-day operations in the sales team and in logistics. You are the reliable colleague that ensures timely follow-up action. 

Besides good communication skills, in both Italian and English your strong organizational skills, attention to detail and proficiency in using software applications, such as CRM (customer relationship management) or ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems, are key for your success in this role.

You have several years of experience in office management in a company. Ideally you already have been supporting a sales and marketing team.

Overview of the Back Office Responsibilities:

  • Act as first point of contact for customers, ensuring adequate follow-up.
  • Assisting and coordinating the sales team.
  • Assisting warehouse inventory control.
  • Help making market data updates.
  • Gathering and processing market research data.
  • Processing company receipts, invoices, and bills.
  • Performing basic admin duties including updating systems, emailing, preparing PPT’s etc.
  • Organizing (sales) staff meetings.
  • Performing additional duties to ensure smooth running business operations.

 

Overview of Back Office Requirements:

  • High school diploma or degree.
  • Experience in a similar role for at least 3 years.
  • Communication skills, both oral and in writing.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English  
  • Pro-active, excellent planning & organizational skills.
  • Reliable team player.
  • Customer focus.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software, CRM and/or ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with market research techniques is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time for training purposes (training will be in the Netherlands and / or Poland).
