Strategic Business Development Specialist

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Business development

  • Supports the different sales organizations and Line of Businesses in the identification of business development opportunities and their realization:
    1. Understanding of strategic positioning and rationale for co-operations;
    2. Analysis and evaluation of potential partners;
    3. Preparation of discussions and negotiations;
    4. Partners management and continuous improvement
  • Works with existing strategic partners to fully understand the costs, benefits, and potential future benefits;
  • Creates business plans and financial models with new and existing partners;
  • Assists in the negotiation of complex transactional terms and legal documents;
  • Works with internal and external business teams on strategy development to prioritize strategic gaps, and evaluate proof of concepts/commercial/partner options;
  • Follows through on prospect meetings and qualifies the opportunities;
  • Develops materials (e.g., presentations, analyses) to support the partnership programs;
  • Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge about Hyva’s product categories, markets, and competitors;
  • Delivers results according to specific metrics created for each strategic engagement;

 Project management:

  • Works on the specific project assigned to ensure proper coordination and completion of those projects;
  • Assists in the development and implementation of the project proposals;
  • Outlines the budgets for the project assigned and schedules it so as to complete it on the given deadline;
  • Compiles data and information relevant to the project and assists in the documentation of the proposal, make presentation, etc.
  • Ensures that the project is completed satisfactorily adhering to the requirements mentioned in the contract;
  • Constantly monitors and tracks the progress of the project and maintains all the relevant work details in the form of reports;
  • Participates and gathers minutes of meetings;
  • Responsible for managing the risks associated with the project; 
  • Creates project plans, establish timelines, and build budget;
  • Reports on progress and provide regular updates to top management;  Works with other departments to ensure that project objectives are achieved within established timeframes.

 

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, product design, engineering or related field; MBA preferred 

Minimun  5 years of experience in similar position

Understanding of customer need analysis, market surveys and competitive activities

Working globally in a multi-cultural environment

A strong track record of business-to-business sales at a corporate level.

Understanding of and experience of working in a matrix organization

Understanding of the Hyva market and trends

 REQUIRED experience in the industrial sector B2B, either in automotive, hydraulic, mechanical or transportation.
