Position Overview

The HRIS Specialist (HR Technology Analyst) is part of the HR Shared Services team and is responsible for maintaining, configuring and executing improvements to all HRIS related modules and works to continuously improve efficiency and user friendliness

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Participate in implementing new modules and integrations within the HRIS system to 
    enhance cross-functional use of the system.
  • Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits and data validation.
  • Assist in data migration, data uploads, and data cleansing.
  • Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies.
  • Propose and implement system enhancements to streamline workflows.
  • Participate in system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Participate in HRIS-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and 
    integrations.
  • Stay informed about data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and ensure HRIS compliance.
  • Monitor system security and access controls in cooperation with IT.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Being a subject matter expert on all features of the Hyva HRIS system
  • Writing functional HRIS specifications for development purposes
  • Generate reports and analytics for HR metrics and compliance purposes.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of HRIS procedures and guidelines.
  • Coordinate testing and user acceptance.
  • Serve as first point of contact for all internal users of HRIS
  • Serve as IT’s support contact and coordinator for HRIS systems upgrades/enhancements and 
    reporting

 

Position Requirements

  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Proficiency in data migration, data uploads, and data cleansing.
  • Knowledge of system security and access controls.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Ability to generate reports and analytics for HR metrics and compliance purposes
  • Strong communication skills to serve as the first point of contact for internal users.
  • Fluent English language (min. C1 level)
