POSITION OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

As a Hydraulic Components Salesperson, you are responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing expert advice on hydraulic products, and driving sales within your assigned territory in the Netherlands. Your role combines technical knowledge, customer service, and strategic sales skills to support clients in selecting the best hydraulic solutions for their applications.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the hydraulic components market.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through regular visits, technical support, and solution-oriented selling.
  • Provide tailored advice on hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, hoses, fittings, and cylinders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, logistics) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Prepare and deliver professional quotations and follow up on sales proposals.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, technical events, and customer meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular sales reports.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in hydraulics or technical B2B environments.
  • Strong technical affinity and ability to understand and explain hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Dutch and English.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Netherlands.
  • Experience with ERP and MS Office systems.
